update
wednesday, i came home late at night to a purple bulb in our apartment hallway. a purple bulb??? i walked past and opened my door. my partner was equally confused.
thursday, we get an email from the site manager. "please do not replace hallway lights with colored bulbs". ah ok. an act of mild vandalism has occurred. it's gone by the afternoon.
less work on my personal site recently, ive been focusing on the meat space art events im hosting and updating my portfolio instead. quietly thinking about all my favorite little guys still though. i have been physically exhausted since this weekend, and even barely have the energy to write now.
but i would really like to update my irl blog.
i have been bugging lots of new people to get into websites, it's funny talking to people much older than me. they are nihilistic and accept their fate. i try to console them that the beauty of the small web is still out there, they would not be alone, in fact there is easier community than ever and more templates and tutorials than you could ever use. i think its hard to accept that they would be disconnected, it was hard for me, and that what they made would look less polished, less professional, to me i just hear "less corporate". but in this world of ai, i think thats becoming more and more valuable. they wont be alone, ill be here with them.
